It is the dedicated intent and practice of the Institute to remain and to stand in a manner that demonstrates academic and professional integrity, scientific objectivity, ethical commitment, and a clear abiding and support of rule of law and the social contract in its conduct and promotion of study and research. There is no formal, financial, contractual or other form of obligatory commitment by any of these institutions or their members. Any expressions of support and endorsement are voluntary, pro bono and without financial basis. This is deliberate and fundamental for what the Institute aspires to be and to maintain.

Persons affiliated with the above institutions, agencies, organizations and companies (such as board members and officers) may be contacted for references with respect to the Institute, LEAPS and other IIS projects.

The Institute takes a position that, in spite of considerable evidence of commercialism and self-gain motivated behavior that has sometimes occurred within scientific and academic institutions, there can be a reinvigoration of classical, ethical, moral thinking and practice, a renewal of achieving aletheia, scientia and sophos that is grounded in ethical, honorable, and uncompromised principles of living and working for the discovery and sharing of truth.

Readers should understand that the Institute (IIS) and LEAPS constitute a legitimate and proper approach to establishing a non-profit, self-sustaining, open-minded and objective-thinking center of interdisciplinary research, learning and development IIS is devoted to discovery and learning in the abstract and theoretical domains but also, as a very important distinction, to the creation of practical and useful solutions for problems facing our complex and delicately-balanced world. The Institute is particularly attuned to addressing Emergent Critical Events and Processes in our natural and social universe. In this sense, the Institute can be said to stand as a "(r)evolutionary" force dedicated to the restoration and conservation of sound and objective scientific investigation and for the liberal, unfettered, unorthodox thinking that is required in order to sustain such conservation, preservation, and stability in our world.

Expressions of Favorable Interest, Encouragement, Symbiotic Collaboration and Potential Future Support

The following is a list of organizations that have (unofficially or officially) expressed such through communications and which the Institute endorses and encourages for their work, their contributions, their value to science and to society. Again, this list is not intended to imply commitment, contractual or otherwise, at the present time, but to demonstrate the positive responses and interactions that have come toward and regarding the Institute and LEAPS, and to provide our statement of support for the quality and integrity we find in these organizations, their people and their contributions to science and society.

"ARCS OF PROGRESS"

Persons affiliated with the above institutions, agencies, organizations and companies (such as board members and officers) may be contacted to obtain their objective opinions and views about the Institute and LEAPS.

To reaffirm what was stated above, unless otherwise noted there is - and by deliberate intent for the sake of objectivity - no formal, financial, contractual or other form of obligatory commitment by any of these institutions or their members. We hope that with the progression of time and the building of synergies and symbiotic relationships, things will evolve maturely into relationships that yield beneficial results for the people that matter - our children, our coming generations, our Future. The Institute hereby does not make claim to any formal or binding support from external bodies and organizations other than those which have officially given grants and support - we wish this to be entirely clear.

Again, we also want readers to understand and appreciate that the Institute (IIS) and LEAPS constitute a legitimate and proper approach to establishing a non-profit, self-sustaining, open-minded and objective-thinking center of interdisciplinary research and development that will be devoted to producing practical and useful solutions for Emergent Critical Processes in our natural and social universe. In this sense, the Institute can be said to stand as a "(r)evolutionary" force dedicated to the restoration and conservation of sound and objective scientific investigation and for the liberal, unfettered, unorthodox thinking that is required in order to sustain such conservation, preservation, and stability in our world.
